Precision Machine Design

Teams of 5-7 students were tasked with designing, analyzing, manufacturing, and verifying functional requirements for a desktop lathe. Our lathe incorporates a brushless motor capable of up to 6000 rpm and is able to cut materials ranging from steel and aluminum to delrin and PVC.
